Henry's first trip to Brazil turned out to be pretty amazing, both from what he got to experience to how he developed. The first day we arrived, Henry, at 5 months, propped himself up on all fours, much to our amazement! It looked like he was ready to just crawl off, but he decided that that would have to wait a month or so! Henry also loved experiencing the beach... though it turned out to be an inopportune time to introduce sand to him just as he started putting everything into his mouth! Sand, feet, whatever! Sam, of course, loved seeing all his old friends and making new ones. Apparently, language doesn't really matter all that much to the 3-year-old set!

Sam and Henry prepared for the transition from our Tucson winter to the Brazilian summer!

Henry's first "girl from Ipanema"... Bruna!

Sam stuck to girls his own age!

Sam realized he was big enough to give real big-brother hugs!

Though not a Brazilian custom (believe it or not), Henry decided to go au natural on the beach! Check out his sand moustache...

Henry got to meet his Brazilian Brother Wagner, and his mom Lica. He loved Lica's braids!

Henry takes a snooze with a view with Jen and "Grandma" Marta!

Mmmmmm, these toes sure are tasty! Where have they been all these months?
