Halloween just keeps getting bigger at the Roth Gordon household. This year's spooktacular party topped out at about 110 guests (we think we may have reached our yard's max!). This year's big addition - a haunted crawl-through maze. It was really fun to build and decorate. As for costumes, we went with Star Wars as our family theme. Sam was Luke Skywalker dressed as a stormtrooper (see Episode 4), Henry was Darth Vader (of course) and Sophie was just about the cutest Princess Leia you can imagine! Uncle David joined in the fun remotely, dressing up as Yoda!

Sophie has taken to this eating thing in a big way. So far she's eaten oatmeal, rice cereal, butternut squash and sweet potato. More than anything, she loves making an insane mess of herself. She's no longer allowed to wear clothes when she eats - it's easier to hose her down than to get those stains out of her clothes! Sophie is also getting more and more aware of her surroundings and other people. She gets so excited watching her crazy brothers!!!

Tonight we changed the world and Henry and Sam were in the mood to celebrate! They've been so excited about this election - what a great introduction to the possibilities of politics!
