September 12, 2003 - Sam handled our move with the greatest of ease. After a full day of hard work where Jen and Derek unpacked as quickly as possible, and Sam played with Grandma and Grandpa, we brought Sam to his new home. Sam didn't even blink. He immediately started exploring the new apartment, finding where all of his familiar toys had been moved to. He had a blast! He especially enjoyed "helping" with the packing and unpacking... there were a few interior design clashes between mother and son, but it all worked out in the end. Since our track record is a move every 18 months, Sam's adaptability is a real plus!

But moves aren't all Sam's been up to. He had visits from his Aunt Rachel, Uncle Joe, and his Aunt Merle, as well as trips to Cleveland where he met up with the growing brood of Cleveland cousins (last count - 8, including Sam). Then he jetted over to Los Angeles where he hung with his other Aunt Rachel, Aunt Jill, and Uncle Brian, as well as lots of friends and family. As you might expect, he has many more trips planned for the fall!
